Progress:
Capitol Paving of DC (the contractor) continued the work along Kennedy Street NW between Georgia Ave NW and North Capitol Street NW. The contractor installed 1.29 square yards of 6 inch PCC sidewalk, 70 square yards brick sidewalk on PCC base, 29 Cubic yards PCC alley-driveway entrance and 54 linear feet for the circular granite curb. Capitol Paving also continued work at 100 block for the bio-retention area and installed 536 linear feet of underdrain PVC 4” pipe, 13 linear feet of underdrain PVC 6” pipe, 22 linear feet of underdrain connection pipe 6” and 3 Under-Drain Cleanout Covers in Landscape. Capitol paving also installed about 100 square yards of Geotextile for Stormwater Management and 100 Square yards of Waterproof Membrane for Stormwater Management. Jaxson Point (Capitol Paving’s sub-contractor) performed the electrical work and installed 3 – 3section traffic signal heads, 9 ball LED module 12 inch and 2- 8 ft. Mast Arm.

Progress:
Capitol Paving of DC (the contractor) continued the work along Kennedy Street NW between Georgia Ave NW and North Capitol Street NW. The contractor installed 73 square yards of 4 inch PCC sidewalk, 16 square yards of 6 inch PCC sidewalk and 61 square yards brick sidewalk on PCC base. Capitol Paving also continued work at 100 block for the bio-retention area and poured concrete for alley driveway entrance, poured 356 linear feet of valley gutter, 61 linear feet of PCC mountable curb and 3.5 linear feet of circular granite curb. Jaxson Point (Capitol Paving’s sub-contractor) performed the electrical work and installed about four (4) 20 feet traffic signal poles, twelve (12) 28.5 feet light pole with 8’ arm, and 1traffic signal heads.

- Monday 10/30: Capitol Paving excavated, placed aggregate base course, Form worked and poured Unassigned Special Item-LF-000527- Concrete Valley Gutter (2” Deep X 12’ Wide at BR-C4 & BR-C5 and continued trench excavation & backfilled for Basin Connect PCC Pipe, Class 111, 15 Inch at SMH-103 To AD-201 as per contract plan and DDOT specification. Also, Capitol Paving excavated, placed #57 stone, Form worked and poured PCC sidewalk, 4 inches at 129 Kennedy ST and continued excavation for PCC valley gutter at BR-C4 To C5 & Sta.53+50LT To Sta.54+70LT as per contract plan and DDOT specification.
- Tuesday 10/31: Capitol Paving excavated, placed aggregate base course, Formwork and poured Unassigned Special Item-LF-000527- Concrete Valley Gutter (2” Deep X 12’ Wide at BR-C8 & BR-C6 and continued trench excavation & backfill for PVC Pipe SDR 35, Gasket, 15 Inch at SMH-103 To AD-201 as per contract plan and DDOT specification. Also, Capitol Paving excavated, placed aggregate base course, Form worked and poured PCC Mountable Curb, 10 To 13 Inch Depth at 129 Kennedy ST and continued excavation for PCC valley gutter at 115 To 103 Kennedy Street as per contract plan and DDOT specification.
Jaxson point furnished and installed 20FT Tall Steel Traffic Signal Pole TS02, TS03, & TS04 and 28.5FT Steel Pendant Pole with Up To 8’ Arm L33, L39, L36, L41, L38, L42, L44, L51 & L53 per contract plan
- Wednesday 11/01: Capitol Paving excavate, place aggregate base course, Formwork and pour Unassigned Special Item-LF-000527- Concrete Valley Gutter (2” Deep X 12’ Wide at BR-C3 to BR-C6 & BR-C3 to BR-C1 and continued trench excavation & backfilled & poured PCC base utility cut for PVC Pipe SDR 35, Gasket, 15 Inch at SMH-103 To AD-201 as per contract plan and DDOT specification. Also, Capitol Paving excavated, placed aggregate base course, Formwork and poured PCC sidewalk 6 inch and furnish & place brick sidewalk on PCC base at 127 To 123 Kennedy ST and started excavation for Alley entrance at Sta.56+00RT as per contract plan and DDOT specification.
Jaxson Point furnished and installed 20FT Tall Steel Traffic Signal Pole TS06 and 28.5FT Steel Pendant Pole with Up To 8’ Arm L34 per contract plan.
- Thursday 11/02: Capitol Paving excavated, placed aggregate base course, Formwork, furnished & placed Under-drain Pipe, 4 Inch, Furnish & set 8” X 12” Granite Circular Curb Radius 10-100FT and poured PCC Driveway-Alley Entrance 7 Inch at Sta.56+00RT and started trench excavation & backfill for under-drain connect pipe, 6 inches at Sta.59+25RT as per contract plan and DDOT specification. Also, Capitol Paving continued excavation at the bio retention area and furnished & placed at BP-03 and furnished and installed steel protection plate for safety issue at SMH-103 To AD-201 as per contract plan and DDOT specification.
Jaxson point furnished and installed FUR Red, green & yellow Ball LED Module 12 Inch and 3 Section Conventional Traffic Signal Head On pole # 7 as per contract plan.
- Friday 11/03: Capitol Paving excavated, installed Waterproof Membrane for Stormwater Management, Geotextile for Stormwater Management, placed aggregate base course # 2 & #57, furnished & placed Under-drain Pipe, 4 Inch Bet. BR-C2 And DW201 and excavated, placed aggregate base course and pour PCC Driveway-Alley Entrance 7 inch at DW-201 as per contract plan and DDOT specification. Also, Capitol Paving continued excavation at the bio retention area and furnished & placed at BP-03 Inspect as per contract plan and DDOT specification. In addition, Capitol Paving furnished and installed under-drain pipe, 6-inch a at SMH-104 To AD-204 s per contract plan and DDOT specification.
